Hi, I'm Qjay, I live in Beaverton, OR and I have a lot of weight to lose. I am trying to stick with a regimen of exercise and diet, but I am having a very hard time motivating myself and I would really like to find a workout partner or six who can help me with the "staying active" part of things.
I'm a single guy, 6' tall, about 360 lbs, give or take, and I am just looking to help someone else get the same sort of thing I need. When I have an exercise buddy, I work out on schedule (3-4 times a week is good for me!), and I have an easier time maintaining my food intake.
If there is anyone who lives in Beaverton and wants to work out, I have 24 hour fitness equipment available in my apartments. It's free, and there is a decent set of machines. If you have a regular gym you go to, I'd be interested in checking it out, as well.
As for online support, I'm all for that, too. One thing I like about using the computer for this, it makes it easy to talk to people with no pressure, and very few time constraints. I am on a push to get myself organized and healthy and would love to talk to other people about their useful tips and tricks.
I see a lot of people here who have been working hard just to understand what's wrong and why they are fat or why they have a hard time "fixing" whatever they want to fix. You're not alone, there are a lot of us in the same boat, so keep trying and sooner or later, you will find something that you are able to do.
See ya 'round! ~QJ
