Most of us have it, that moment when all that matters is that yummy, bestfriend in a jar. We also know that it is not our bestfriend and adds way to many calories way to fast. Let's talk about pasts battles, wins, looses, tips to say "no" and anything else about cravings. :) I personally need to control myself,

i have that problem too. except mine is for "bestfriends" in a bag. ill see a bag of chips in the cabinet and they're really hard to resist, but sometimes I do resist eating them and other times I don't. which is okay, cause during weight loss your bound to slip up sometimes. When I have a snack craving in between meals I like to try to drink water to fill my in-between meals hunger. I wish you the best of luck!

Peanut butter isn't really that bad if you only have a tablespoon or two. It's actually rather healthy and can fit into a diet plan. Anything in excess is bad of course.

My biggest challenge is to resist the draw of a juicy artery clogging fast food cheeseburger and fries. I have found a good way to resist these cravings somewhat. The last time I ate a meal like this I acknowledged and remembered how horrible I felt afterward. Not just guilt, but physically uncomfortable from eating too much greasy food. So every time I have a craving I try to recall the afterward feeling that always makes me regret eating it. I then opt for a turkey sandwich with mustard.

Not a bad way to stop yourself from drinking to mcdonlds and ordering a big Mac. I did that to ice cream sandwiches. I ate a whole box before and then I threw up, so I look at them, even if I did try to eat them I'd feel sick and go take a nap and start feeling truly sick. Should I do that to peanuttbutter sometime then? Just eat the whole jar plain until I'm sick of it? Haha, nah I wont do that. But thanks, I'll just remeber what I'll feel like after I eat that dubble fudge muffin!

Switch to natural peanut butter. :) I can't live without peanut butter, so I switched to natural and eat it on celery (it's what I'm snacking on as I type this actually). Less bad stuff, but you still get the flavor (actually, to me, it's a better flavor, as you get more nutty flavor and less oily flavor). I'm the same way with cheese, I can't do without it, so I just try to do a lower fat cheese and in smaller portions. Mayo has been the hardest for me to quit though! I love mayo on my sandwiches, and I just cannot find a decent replacement. I had a chicken sandwich with mayo on it the other day after a month of no mayo, and it was fantastic! lol.

Haha, I love mayo too! At subway I just naturally say "and mayo" after my oder. I should not get mayo next time. :) I'll probly remember to not get any if I convince myself it coasts more to get mayo. ;)

Today I did one of the biggest binges of my life! Got to over 4,500 calories! That's a HUGE amount! Only body builders would ever need something like that, but i don't have much muscle, I've got soft arms. So that's going to set me back quite a lot. My hearts racing with all the carbs I got, I should control myself.

Just thought I'd post and let everyone know I have found a replacement for mayo! I just had a tuna sandwich with Miracle Whip Free and it was fantastic. Only 13 calories and fat free... Now I can satisfy my mayo addiction and might be able to curb my binges. :)

For Miracle Whip cringers like me (sorry DreamCatcher ;) ), I suggest Hellman's cholesterol-free mayo. it is 50 cals for one tablespoon instead of 100 and I got used to it really quickly! haven't had the regular stuff in a while and I don't even miss it. I know it's not 13 cals, but I could never stomach miracle whip :( And I hate mustard so I'm pretty much stuck with mayo :p

So between that new mayo and reducing the amount I put on my sandwhiches, plus not eating it with fries anymore (I'm french-canadian, it's in my genes to love mayo :p), it makes a difference.

Oh man, I love fries dipped in a mixture of ketchup and mayo!

I was never a huge fan of Miracle Whip until recently. I used Kraft Mayo, and there was absolutely nothing better than a fresh ham sandwich (made with the ham still warm) with just mayo.... I'm drooling now thinking about it! But I've actually come to like Miracle Whip, at what point this started, I can't tell you though. And with the Miracle Whip Free, it tastes even better knowing it's only 15 cals! lol

Kraft Light Mayo is also only 50 calories. I think if I get a major craving for one of those perfect ham sandwiches, this might be what I use to replace my favorite full-fat Kraft Mayo. :)
