Barbell vs. Dumbell

i started out doing barbell bench but once i got to college in september i been working with dumbell till now. people say dumbell because your working your supporting muscle but study shows dumbell is more effective i don't what i might be doing over the summer in a real gym


while on the topic what are your thoughts on arnolds vs military presses or regular dumbells
 
You should switch off between the two. Of the two, I would say DB because it ensures an equal balance of weight for each side of your body along with better ROM's in some exercises.
 
Yup, do both, frequently. And also agree DB's often have a slight edge over barbells in terms of 'most efficient way to work all muscles and give most natural ROM'.

not always, but often.
