Alrighty.... I figured since it's been so long since I've updated my last diary and how I fell off the wagon for a bit... I'd make a new one now that I'm back to kicking my lazy butt into gear :D

Anywho.... if ya didn't know.. let me explain why exactly I did stop exercising and such.
A few weeks ago, my brother lost his job in Alabama. The place he was working for was laying alot of people off and he was one of the many unfortunate to lose their job. :(
So talking with them in WoW (World of Warcraft)... they (him and his wife) said they were coming up here the next day to visit.
I thought they were just joking around since it was just so sudden and out of the blue, but they were serious and 24hrs later they were knocking on the door.
Turns out though, that they were actually planning on moving back up here and have been living with us ever since (bout a week before Thanksgiving).
My brother has been going on interviews though and bf's grandfather is going to let them rent his old home when they have the money. So things will hopefully be looking up for them soon.

Anywho.....
At first, I just wanted to visit with them and spend time with them. That's why I didn't exercise. Plus I was just too embarassed to do it in front of anyone.
But as time went on, that legitimate excuse turned into just a lazy excuse for me not to exercise and to go back to my old eating habits. What was supposed to be just a couple of bad days turned into a couple of bad weeks.

I haven't weighed myself yet.. and I'm really scared to. I just know I probably gained back everything that I lost.
BUT thankfully, I'm catching myself before too much more time passes. Instead of a few months to a year passing before I get my lazy butt back into gear again, it's only been a few weeks :)
My sis in law might be doing the Turbo Jam exercises with me as well. If she doesn't thats ok too. Everyone has to start when they feel the time is right.
I'm not gonna be able to do treadmill though. The room with the treadmill (this room with the comps) is where we've set up the air matress and baby's crib so there isn't room for the treadmill to be down.
Hmm actually there might be room.. I'll have to see if I can arrange things a little different so I can put it down.

But blahblahblah.... I'm back! I won't be reaching my Xmas goal unfortunatly. I don't think losing 20lbs (or more) by then would be very healthy heh. Maybe I'll set it lower... like 5lbs by Xmas :)
I'm gonna have to brave the scale tomorrow though... sigh... really not looking forward to seeing how much dmg I've done.

And yep... I hope everyone is doing better than I have! lol :D ;)
 
Well welcome to your new diary, its great that you're starting anew again. I wish you tons of luck. You can do this!!! Good luck with the weigh in. :D
 
I'm not gonna be able to update this diary as much as the last one since I'm having to share my comp. It's ok though so long as I can come back here and update at least once a day :)

Next week is going to be my official re-restart heh.
But I did do Cardio Party and did a 20minute walk on the treadmill today :)
BOY it felt so SO great to work out again. I never thought I'd say that heh.

My sis in law worked out with me as well and.. I dunno... her being there beside me made me work out harder. I think it's b/c you don't wanna look too weak in front of someone else so you try harder than if you were by yourself, sorta thing.
It was great though... we both got a really good workout in :)

I didn't weighin today b/c I forgot. But I'm gonna be weighing in on Monday so *crosses fingers*... I just hope I haven't gained too much back.
 
Okedoke... I know I haven't updated in a few.. but fear not! I haven't fallen off the wagon again right when I've gotten back on! heh
I just usually don't get on the computer much during the weekends so I don't update then. And the last few days have been in and out of the house and me just not feeling good so I haven't updated.

So... Monday I did weighin and through some miracle.... I actually weighed in at 219! :eek: WOOT!
Which means that I haven't gained any weight back in these last few weeks and even managed to get back down a lb!
I don't think my luck is going to last much longer though. I was probably able to maintain that weight through my bad eating and non-exercising b/c my metabolism and new worked out muscles were finally kicking into gear. But slipping back to my old ways I know I'm gonna start gaining again if I don't start back up.
Monday though was just a bad day. I woke up with a really bad headache. My headaches usually make me feel sick to my stomach and well.. it just wouldn't go away all day long. So.. no exercise.
And today, bf was off of work and we were out all day Xmas shopping.. so once again.. no exercise.
Yes... they're both excuses, BUT... I am making up for these 2 days on Sat and Sun (my rest days) :)

And to blab a bit... one of the places we went to today was the local mall here. We went to a few stores and decided to walk through Dillards.
SIGH.... they had such beautiful dresses that I want!! Pretty little ones that I can only fantasize about getting into right now.
But I'm determined. This coming June when we go to Illinois for my bf's sister's wedding.. I'm gonna be in one of those! I don't care if it's a size 14 (that'd be down 2 dres sizes)... My big butt is getting me one of the purdy dresses to wear and I'm gonna be rockin it!! MUAHAHAHAHA :D

I've set my short term goal to lose at least 10lbs a month. I think that's pretty fair. If I come up short one month that's ok too, but I hope I can get to at least 10 each month :) That'd give me about 6 months to get down to about 160-150. MAN that would be awesome!!!! WOO heh

I hope everyone is doing fantastic!!
 
Alrighty... so last night I forgot to update.. heh. I meant to do it before I went to sleep, but was just SO tired.

Anywho! Workout was good and I'm still feeling it today. We (me and sis in law) did about 10mins of Turbo Sculpt, decided that it was a bit too rough at the moment so switched to 20minute workout.
I also did 20mins on the treadmill.
My legs are definetly sore today. Not enough to have kept me from working out though :D
We did Cardio Party and I did 13mins on the treadmill. I was planning on doing about 20mins but I got a bad cramp in my side that didn't want to go away with my usual tricks of getting them to disappear.

I was REALLY bad with my snacking last night though. I'm gonna do better tonight with that. *nodnod*
All in all though.. I've restarted fairly well :D

Welcome back I was wondering where you disapeared to.
:p ! I was thinking about that to but I just kept posting all the evil bad
foods and all the "NO" exersicing that I wasn't doing and I honestly think
thats what helped me get back on track,posting great days felt better than
posting crappy ones.
Glad to c-ya back and sounds like your ready for a fresh start!

Just coming in to say that.. well.. I didn't exercise today or yesterday.
I know... bad bad me. I let my laziness get the better of me.
I won't let it happen again though. I know I'm gonna be taking Xmas off from exercising, but that will be the only day next week :)
This week will be great. I can feel it! I'm already pumped to do a full week's worth of exercise and just looking forward to how I'm gonna feel when I've accomplished that.

I hope everyone is doing awesome!
I should be getting my computer more starting tomorrow since my brother will be starting his new job, so I'll be dropping by some of ya to cheer ya on as well!! :D

So this week started off well.

And yesterday... well... let's just say that I didn't get in any exercising. My day consisted mainly with me going from my bed to the bathroom.
Yep, that's right folks... I had gotten food poisoning :( Actually I woke up b/c of the phone and heard on the message that my brother hadn't shown up for work.
So I go into the living room and he's laying on the loveseat and his wife informs me that he's sick.
I felt a little under the weather, but thought it was only b/c I had woken up earlier than usual... but I soon found out when I went to the bathroom that I wasn't suffering from a regular upset stomach.
I'll spare you the details about how I was sick.. but it wasn't pretty heh.
The thought of food had me running for the bathroom so I had nothing to eat yesterday. And the only thing I drank was a cup of blue hawaiian punch that my bf got for me b/c he said I needed sugar, but that came up with the pepto I had just taken making a pretty violet color :p lol

Blahblahblah.... I still feel a little bit on the bleh side, but I'm just hoping it's b/c I haven't eaten anything.
 
Ok so... my stomach was still upset, even after I ate. PLUS it now feels like I've done a ton of crunches. Didn't feel like that before though... guess it does now b/c I ate something *shrugs*
Anywho... I could only force down about 3/4 of the chicken noodle soup before I had to stop. If I had tryed to eat it all, I know it would've come back up.
So I went and took a nap, and then ate a small bowl of icecream. I'm not having any nausea after that though so I'll take that as a good sign that whatever food made me sick is almost out of my system.
 
Well, no exercise today as well. *sigh*
I swear this is becoming more of a "how I got sick" than an exercise diary :p heh

But yeah... I woke up just feeling sick to my stomach. I didn't throwup though so that's good, but the feeling is sticking with me right now. I think I might just need to get more fluids in me since I haven't really been drinking alot.
I hope that will help me feel better.

Oh I forgot.... I decided to weigh myself just for kicks to see how much weight I have lost due to getting sick... and I'm down to 215 :p I guess I should thank food poisoning for my 3lb weightloss... heh.. gosh that's so terrible heh. I know it's mainly all waterweight though and will come back as soon as I'm 100% again which I hope will be soon b/c this is really sucking!

I got alot of really nice things, but.. the best present of the day came right before my bf went off to bed.
He finally... after almost 9 or 10yrs (I can't remember how long heh)... he finally gave me an engagement ring. YAY!!!!
This is the ring he got me....


It looks a little different in person... the gemstone is alot bigger and isn't as colorful while the 2 diamonds on the side are a little smaller, but it's still such a gorgeous ring. He got me the aquamarine b/c it looked more like a traditional diamond engagement ring (I had told him I wanted alexandrite, tanzanite or pink sapphire heh).
I just love it though! :D :D

Oh and that wedding that I had wanted to lose weight for. My bf's sister's that was supposed to be next June has been pushed up... to Saturday :eek:
But now.. I have my own wedding to get skinny for!!
Me and my sis-in-law were standing in Walmart the other day and she pulled one of the bride magazines off the shelf and... I have to look good in a wedding dress!!

So... starting next week... I'm back on full time. We have to go grocery shopping, but I'm determined to be one hot bride when that day comes!
