Back to fitness again

Hello every one. I'm new here. I'm 57 year old male. I use to work out at a gym a few years ago and stopped. Decided to get back to fitness. I can't afford a gym membership right now so I began doing regular push ups and dumb bell exercises at home. I also walk/jog regularly.

When I went to the gym I weighed more then I do now. I would jog to the gym and then spend 20-30 mns on the tread and then proceed to every work out. I only managed to lose 8 lbs in one summer lol. I stopped at 206 lbs and ended up back to 220 after I stopped. That was the most I ever weighed. After a few years of no exercises at all, I managed to drop some weight any ways. Prolly because I simply don't eat as much. Any way I am currently at 170 lbs, 34 waist, 5' 9". My goal is to drop to 165 lbs build back some upper body muscles and hopefully achieve some thing I have not seen on me in decades, some abs!

I smoke and drink, always have. This will not change. I do plan on going back to electronic cigs again soon, but have no desire to give up nicotine or alcohol. Just looking to tone my body up and stay in the normal BMI range.

My employer has plans to open a full gym for us next year, but until then, any advise I can get about what I can do at home with no equipment except for dumb bells would be appreciated.
