Back injury affects arms, hands and legs

Hello I have a mess of injuries, cervical fusion at c6-7, bilateral thoracic outlet, bilateral ulnar nerve injury, post L4 compression fracture with bulging discs and neuropathy down both legs primarily left. That's the easy part. The docs are oh do this and that including yoga. I can't put any weight on my arms/hands and have a balance issue because of the neuropathy down the left leg. Unfortunately because of meds, Lyrica the biggest, i have gained 20 lbs. I weigh the most I have ever weighed (although still small for my size). If I was toned it wouldnt be a problem but I don't know what to do to tone? Doc says if it hurts don't do it, except it always hurts. Any suggestions would be great. When I go to PT they don't consider the whole body just one part and that is not helping the overall problem. Thank you, Debby
