Ok, so I am going to try this diary thing. Not sure what to write. I am a mother of two. On my path to the body I want :D I have been trying to eat better and exercise, and so far it has been working. I try to eat alot of fiber, kashi is my favorite. I just tried their newest cereal "kashi Vive" It is soooo good, and 11 grams of fiber. Woo Hoo. Exercise ...Yesterday I did 45 min of Tae Bo in the AM and 20 min of kickboxing and a 15 min of abs in the afternoon. I am about to go do 45 min of Denise Austin interval training. (3.5 min. of cardio then 1.5 min of weight lifting) Wish me luck.

Breakfast- 1 1/4 cups Kashi Vive cereal with 3/4 cup 2% milk (261 cal)

Snack- 1/4 cup cinnamon splender trail mix (120 cal)

I will let you know how I am doing as the day progresses...Off to workout. :D
 
i'm tired just looking at your workout schedule... :D way o go... but be sure to give your body time to rest itself... :D

LOL :D If I don't work out that much I won't do it at all. Can't cut too many calories until I am done breastfeeding. Thanks guys for checking out my diary.:D

I like the diary thing so far because like, you have to share with people and I found yesterday that I resisted temptation 'cause I knew I'd have to write it down. And knowing people would see me like, not eating at least reasonably well kinda freaked me out.

So like my question is how long has it taken you to lose your 66 lbs so far? And ummm...I think I had other questions but I've forgotten. Ah well. They must not have been important.

Well...I try to do 45 min of somethype of cario-ish workout in the AM, and 20-30 min of whatever workout appeals to me (cardio,weights,or pilates) in the afternoon. I am not supposed to cut out too many calories (due to breastfeeding) so I just try to eat better stuff, fruits veggies, whole grains, lean protiens, with a treat here and there. One thing I am having a hard time with is that # on the scale. 153 seems like a big number to me, but I can fit, although snuggly, into a size 6 jean. My brain can't comprehend that. To me if you wear a size 6, you should weigh like 130 or less, but I guess thats not true. Anyhew... with that here is my afternoon calorie tally....

Snack- Kashi Go Lean chocolate/caramel bar (I am in love) -150 cal.

Lunch- Small whole grain tortilla with all natural turkey and provolone cheese wrapped in it. Mustard and a little Light done right 3 cheese ranch.- 270 cal
Baby carrots and an apple - 130 cal

Snack- (I am hungry today) Weight Watchers Cookie Ice Cream Bar- 140 cal

I AM STILL HUNGRY!!!!

And of course I have already downed 80+ oz. of water, and there is still more day to go. Must go clean the house :( and exercise:)

It sounds like you are doing GREAT and congratulations on losing 66 pounds!! That is teriffic :) You are *so* close to your goal!

I was curious, how tall are you?

I agree, it's a great way to resist temptation because you have to be accountable for what you to all these lovely people. I mean, no one's going to ream you about it but it feels shameful to put down "1 roll raw cookie dough" and know that people are going to actually see it!

Keep up the great work! I love the Kashi Granola bars... mmm!

That's totally it. I'm not going to eat an pint of ice cream knowing that others will witness my diet infidelity.

And I'm going to echo M2M here: And how tall are you, lightening?

My best friend is like 5'5" and at like 130-135ish and she's like a size 6/8. So if you're taller than her by much, it's not crazy to think you'd manage to squeeze into a 6. Especially if you have muscles or upperbody strength. My friend has neither, so that could account for you weighing more...anyways I'm rambling. You rock!
 
Good Morning all !!! I am 5 foot 6.5. My husband says I am "pushing" 5'7. The reason it is weird to me is that I weighed around the same 10 years ago, but was a size 10. Kristin diva...your quote is cool, it always seems that the universe conspires against me :D . Well last nights dinner was good.. Grilled Salmon with brocolli and a small potato with salsa. I think I hit around 1600 calories. And the afternoon I did a ballet/pilates workout for about 30 min. Yeah! Talk to you all soon.. and Suzi...YOU ROCK
 
so much of it just depends on how you are built. My friend is 5'7" and about 155 and she wears a size 10 I think. So it might just be that you've built up a lot of muscle. So you still weigh the same but have probably lost several inches. Either way, I think the last time I fit into a size 6 I was 128lbs and 16yrs old! haha I envy you for wearing a single digit on your pants! lol Anyway, keep up the good work. You'll reach your goal in no time!

Thank you for your support!! You guys are all so awesome. I agree that it does help to resist temptation when you have to share it with everyone. I set a personal best record yesterday...50 grams of fiber :eek: Don't know why that was important to share with everyone, but well I just wanted to say it.:D

TODAYS TALLY SO FAR- 45 min Tae-bo AM : 20 min cardio and 15 min all over body workout with weights on the stability ball.

Breakfast- Kashi Vive with 2% milk (300 cal)
Snack- Kashi TLC bar (120 cal)
Lunch- turkey cheese wrap with baby carrots (same as yesterday) (460 cal)
Snack- WW Ice Cream Bar (140 cal)
Snack #2- Apple (80 cal)
1100 so far today..and 41 grams of fiber
 
Well...I had some Lean Cuisine Pizza last night. I think my cals were around 1600.
Today....1100 So far, but I haven't had dinner
45 min of Tae-Bo done and I am about to do 20 min of cardio, and about 15 min of strength training. Legs and Abs today. Hope everyone is having a spendid day!
 
sorry I haven't been in before but looks like your doing great. after looking at your workout schedule I need a nap lol.....keep it up.
 
Hey, Lightening, your doing fabulous! keep it up. And I know what everybody means by the diary accountability. There are times I want to scarf down my son's leftovers after dinner but I spray them with bleach and toss them in the bin and feel very proud of myself when I come on here and report or better yet when I'm tallying everything up on spark people and I see my calories just at the right level and all.
in other words, it WORKS and thats why were are all here and we are all doing fantastic.
 
Well..I only have 12 weeks to go until my goal weight date. Haven't said much lately because my foods seem to be alot of the same day after day, and my workout is too. I guess I am afraid to change because what I'm doing has worked so far. I think I will try some recipies off the food network though that sounded good. Only 11 pounds left to go and then I get to go shopping :D Here's to hoping for a size 6.
 
Wow... you're doing amazing! I'm sure you're going to get to you goal weight way before your goal date!!
My bf loves that kashi brand stuff. Think the waffles he gets is that brand. I'm gonna have to look into it myself. I could use alot more fiber in my diet :)

How tall are you and what size are you wearing now? You're under my goal weight - so I'm always curious where others are in terms of sizes!

So long as what you're doing is working, I'd stick with it too!!
