That is amazing! Keep it up but there is no way you can't look at the change and feel proud of yourself.

You really should be proud of your accomplishments. Keep it up, and you'll reach your goals. You asked in my thread about motivation... I don't think you need any advice on that. You are doing a great job, so give yourself credit. You are gorgeous!

I was 275lbs when I started on 1st Jan 09' (the first two pics) and the last 3 pics were taken on 31st dec 09' when I reached 185lbs.

So I lost a total of 90lbs in one year of time.My goal is 120lbs so I aim to lose another 65 lbs this year.I do not know if it is slow. After reading other peoplez progress in dis forum I kinda feel mine is too slow lol but its alright.Hence I was lil reluctant in putting up ma pics.

I have tried and failed so many times. However, this time I dint give up and that is where the key lies....consistency..we hafta keep on going.

And yes what everyone says is very very true...eat right and exercise...that would be all:) NO special programs!
 
You don't say... consistently eating intelligently and moving more actually works?

Great job and you are doing fantastic... You're progress phenomenal and you're rate of loosing the weight is perfect. 90lbs is a lot of weight to loose... and the most important thing is that the weight is staying off... like you said persistance and being consistant is key... Stick with it you're doing great :D
 
wow you look amazing! thats true inspiration right there. Would you mind telling us what type of exercises you did?

thanks for da kind words. Initially I wasnt doing any exercise for 3 months. But then I joined a gym. Now I am going to the gym atleast 4 times a week for 1 hr approx. plus I go for morning walks and evening walks for half n hr each. Just tryin to be more mobile..dats all.:)

Wow great job you look amazing such a difference! And I would not worry about how much time it took 90 lbs in year is awesome- and in the weight loss world losing weight slower is usually better- your body is less likely to have as much stretched skin etc. So keep up the awesome work! =)

What about diet? What was your daily diet like..did you avoid a whole lot of stuff..I am from Singapore and my diet is very Asian based, i do try to fit in from time to time fresh, unprocessed food into my diet but I have failed quite a few times. :-(..so how do you managed with diet?

I have incorporated a lot of fresh fruits n veggies in my diet. Since I am a vegetarian, my main sources of protein are milk , cottage cheese and lentils soyabeans bakebeans etc. I eat only healthy fats like almonds walnuts moderately. And healthy carbs like fruits n veggies. I take very little breads etc. like just 3 slices in a day. Sugars are also restricted. Not stopped anything, everthing in moderation but eating out is just 2 meals a week. Rest I prepare at home.

I am calculating the calories and eating roughly 1500 Cals /day. Keeping a journal does help!I do go off the wagon at times but soon I come back on my track.

Wow, you look great. Just joining today, and don't have the balls to put up pics of myself! I just started working out and took a before pic of myself last friday, and plan to post soon, now that I have found this forum that seems to have such a great support system.
