Aussie Newbie Here.

Hi everyone.
I just joined up and thought I would come in here first too introduce myself. :action11:
I am a 31 year old mother of two (5 year old daughter and 4 year old son) who has recently had a wake up call with having a pap test come back with not so good results. After some long months of fighting the cancerous cells I have been cleared and was told I have nothing too worry about. So now after years of being reasonably unhealthy and not eating right I have decided to get into shape and look after myself better.
I have recently lost alot of weight. Starting at 79kgs and now weighing in at 59kgs only 6 months later (due too the treatment I was having), I have found I am feeling great and am ready to learn how too maintain my healthy weight and tone up mainly. As there is not much fat to get off me. I do find I have a little lose skin but am quite happy with the way I look.:action12:

I have recently purchased the Cardio twister. (I know many will tell me it isnt worth it but I am enjoying it) I have been working out on that for 25 minutes in the evening. I walk every afternoon with my son too collect my daughter from school. Which is only a 15 minute walk there and 15 minutes back, so it's not a big walk but I am trying my best. I would love to go too the gym but seeing I have children that is almost impossible.

Anyway, I hope too meet some new people and learn how too get into shape and share my experiences with you all.
Naomi

congrats on all your success. Beating back cancer is always pleasant to hear.

If you are having fun, than might as well keep doing it, as long as it's a safe range of motion, you are still exercising, even if it may be a gimicky machine (which I don't know anything about it), it's still better than not doing it (usually)

Glad to hear that you're healthy now! As for the cardio twister... it's probably not a piece of equipment that I would ever recommend, but if you've already got it and you're enjoying it, then that's the important thing!
