AHello wornout,
I'm not an expert, but a friend of mine had a six pack as his goal. He's a man in his forties that was at least 100kg when he started exercising. The trick to getting abs is actually seeing the abdominal muscles underneath your belly fat. My friend has incorporated weights training, lots of cardio, and nutrition to set himself up for a six back. He said there are different ways you can work your muscles an example he gave me was your pectoral muscles, I think in this case you would look at different exercises that work the same muscles for abdominals and your obliques. Most of your your work though is to loose a much fat as you can so that you're lean enough for your abs to be visible. It's a long commitment so you need to be prepared to work hard at it for a year or so. My friend has been working out for 2 years and is almost there (working out 6days a week with a cheat day of high calorie foods which he incorporated after loosing his first 20kg and was in a stable routine).
Correct me if I'm wrong! But I really hope this helps... All the best
