So I don't want to shoot big and feel like I failed because I know the lower you get in weight, the harder the pounds come off. I've been 130 lbs for a while though now and eating at maintenance, neither losing or gaining really.
I haven't really been dieting that much since this summer i've been in nyc interning meaning eating a lot of takeout and at restaurants with friends. I only get to workout for 40 min like twice a week which i know is not right but it's just so hard having two jobs and having time to hit the gym. I don't think I have gained that much weight, my waist has actually shrunk a little but ironically my arm has gotten 1/2 inch larger...any idea on why that happened? I have no scale, all i have is my tape measure, so i have no idea if i've technically gained or lost weight since my waist is a little smaller but my arm got a little bigger. Nothing else has changed.
Anyway, if starting today I committed to exercising 4 days a week for 40 min cardio and 2 days a week weight lifting, and of course eating healthy limiting around 1200-1300 calories a day, how many lbs is it possible for someone at 130 lbs and 5'5" to lose in a month (that's how long i have before going back to school). Any answers would be great...I want to be realistic about goals
