Starting a journal to motivate me and track my progress.

* I am 25 years old
* Generally been quite slim but put on 3st in the past few years after being ill for a long time.
* started at 163lb a few months ago
*weight today 142lb : 13/12/12
* dieting and exercising
* hoping to reach my goal by next summer :0
 
So we have some snow.... just a wee bit but hopefully get some more so i can get outside and build a snowman!!
Lost 2.5lb last week so going to try be really good and get the same again this week just in time for xmas.

Breakfast: 2 x digestives!! not the best but quite low on cals!
Lunch: home made soup and a small ham sandwich
Dinner: Chicken stir fry
Snacks: orange, apple, 2 scoops strawberry froyo
Exercise: none today since i have the flu!! need to try and fit in some extra over the weekend.
 
Thanks guys, yes 6 e's don't know where that began!
Started off really good this week but all the christmas cholates have been rolling in and i got pick in mix sweets last night!! ooops.
Get weighed tonight so ill see what the damage is.

In good news though the guy at the gym across the road gave me a free 12 day pass so i am going to make the most of my christmas holidays and get exercising :)
 
We have pretty similar stats! I originally started at 180 but now I'm down to 137lbs (9.78st). Looking forward to reading your updates! :) Welcome!

Todays menu:

Breakfast: nutty bar, strawberries
Lunch: soup
Dinner: going to cinema so maybe 1/2 nachos with the other half!
snacks: sugar snap peas, protein bar, orange
exercise: 1 hour at gym, running, cycling, stepper and some small weights!

so far a good week :)
 
its great that you have a free gym pass, even better that it getting put to good use, well done.
 
Thanks, it was great using it and getting some exercise over christmas,havent weighed myself for the tree weeks over the festive period so tonight im getting weighed. Hoping i have at least stayed the same.
Todays menu:
B: 2 x slices of bread with 1xegg and 1x egg white
L: Cous cous with betroot, quorn chicken and some fat free greek yogurt
D: 2 x tacos with mince lettuce low fat cheese and salsa
snacks: fruit, ww biscuits
 
Put on 1/2lb, not too bad but would rather have lost!
todays menu
B: fruit and oats with fat free yogurt
L: tiny portion of lasagne with loads of green beans and asparagus
D: 40g brown pasta, 40g mince and a tomato sauce.
Snacks: Fruit and some frozen yogurt
 
did two hours of dancing last night!! sweaty!! and got my gym stuff for a class aftyer work tonight.

B: oat bar
L: cous cous, quorn fillet, betroot and fat free yogurt
D: Chicken and mashed potatoes
Snacks: apple, banana, low fat crisps

I will be skinny one day!!

Menu today:
B:cereal bar
L: baked potato and low fat cottage cheese
D: low fat vegtable curry and brown rice
Snacks: Rosemerry grisinetti and tomato relish and a bowl of mini corns and sugar snap peas.
 
Thanks again, getting weighed in tomorrow but not had the best weekend, ate chocolate on friday and sunday!! but did do 5 hours in the gym so hopefully still loose something :)
 
well spent an hour in teh gym yesterday on cardio, legs and core and then did a 45 minute run before weigh in and lost another 1.5lb :)
treated myself with pasta bolognese and cheese which was so good!
