Arthroscopic surgery

You sound smart? I had arthroscopic surgery on my knee two months ago. The only post op advice my doctor gave me is if it hurts do not do it.

I went skiing and now my knee has swollen up, it has been six days since I skied and no change.

Any advice?

Dear Avdog,

Sounds like you overdid it... Maybe doing too much, too soon?

My advice is go see your doctor! In the meantime, ice for 10 minutes at a time a few times a day.

And don't go for any 3 hour hikes in the desert.
