Right here goes.. hopefuly this will help i think it will im starting off 170lbs 5ft6" 34-36" waist. Im fed up of looking at my belly and feeling sick of the state of got in so maybe me writing down everything i eat, drink and do will help in some way... maybe it will...maybe it wont i guess i dont no unless i try.
I want to lose the weight and i no i can so here goes.
 
I also started at a BMI of 27 and a half, (I am shorter 5'4 and was a tad lighter at 160), now my BMI is 22. It is totally doable!
However I still have a belly, so I am continuing to work on that!

ok well today was quite easy so this is what i ate what do u guys think?

1 coffee 2sugars semi-skimmed milk

Breakfast- 1 bowl of crunchy nut corn flakes
1 low fat yogurt + 1 bananna

Lunch- 3egg ommlette with peppers and courgette

snack- 2plums

Dinner- jerk chicken with rice + 1 strawberry fool

Drinks- 8pints of water + 1 can of beer (it is saturday night)

i think that is really good for me i no i can keep it up aswell :)
 
right so today i had
1 cup of coffee 2sugars semi-skimmed milk

Breakfast- 1 bowl of rice crispies with chopped bananna

Lunch- jacket potato with baked beans

Dinner- grilled burger + oven chips

drinks- 8-9 pints of water

Well i seem to be not snacking and thats great :) i havn't drunk any fizzy in 2weeks either and im amazed by how good i feel just but cutting that out :)
 
my god i feel shattered ive just got home after 2hrs at the gym woo go me :)
so today i have ate

1 cup of coffee 2sugars semi-skimmed milk

Breakfast- 2 pieces of toast with jam + 1 bananna

Lunch- 2 poached eggs on toast

Dinner- grilled chicken, new potatoes,green beans+ 2plums

Drinks- 9 pints of water + 1 glass of pure orange juice

I seem to be doing really well i think and im really happy with my progress so far i havent weighed myself yet lol as im worried incase i have some how put weight on.
 
Looking good, Don't over do the gym if your not used to it. What sort of workout are you doing ?
 
im just doing 30min on tredmill (15 running 15 brisk walk) abs and anything else really i have no set workout but i figure aslong am im sweating a fairbit im doing the right stuff.
 
ok so today i had--

Lunch- 2ham and rocket rolls (wholemeal)

Dinner- home made shepherds pie with carrots

Drinks- 8pints of water 1 glass of orange juice

off to the gym again tomorrow i feel like i have more energy now aswell and when i have a spare 15-20min i go on the wii fit :)
 
well i kinda fell of the wagon today i went to the gym done 2 hours there and im really proud i ran 1mile in 8min 10secs but then i came home and it all went down hill really i got bought a mcdonalds but im going to gym tomorrow to make up for it i feel like ive let myself. I no there will be times i have set backs just wish i didnt feel so bad about it but here goes this is what i ate today--

Breakfast- 1 bowl corn flakes +1 bananna

Lunch- 2wholemeal rolls with ham+rocket + 1 fat free yogurt

Dinner- Mcdonalds 1 bigmac medium fries choc milk

Drinks- 9pints of water 1 glass pinapple juice 1 choc milk
 
well i done alot better today so im happy not getting any help or encouragement at home which is a shame and it does not help that my wife is continuing to eat shit and not care so i find it that much harder but im doing it and thats all that matters so today i ate--

1 cup coffee 1 sugar semi-skimmed milk

Breakfast- 1 bowl of shredded wheat+ 1 bananna

Lunch- 2 wholemeal rolls with chicken and rocket

Dinner- homemade meatballs and pasta + 1 low fat yogurt

Drinks- 8pints water 1 small bottle orange juice

I totally understand where you're coming from. It's so much harder when your significant other isn't sharing in what you're trying to do. My boyfriend eats absolutely anything that he wants, anything that can be put in front of him and it doesn't matter.

Your determination is definitely inspiring! Keep it up! Remember to make sure that your caloric intake is appropriate for safely losing weigh and not overdoing it at the gym and that should help from bouncing back even if your having a bit of a harder time with support from home.

Being on this site and keeping a journal is definitely an awesome way to find support :)
