Arnie's Cohens Adventure

Well it's day 6 of my Cohen's adventure and I'm not feeling too bad. Had the terribible headaches and tiredness on days 3 and 4 but hopefully I'm over that now.
I have read other diaries and am always amazed at how much we all have in common. My weight has fluctuated wildly most of my adult life. As I've said before I have a fat wardrobe and a skinny wardbrobe. Needless to say the fat one gets used more!!! This time I'm hoping I can say goodbye to all those long baggy tops for good.:smilielol5:
I live in Melbourne, am married to a gorgeous man, no kids but a very cute dog. I work in the resources sector and manage a large group of people. My work is manic but fun. One of the team had been on Cohens last year and has managed to keep the weight off so she is my inspiration. For me it's not just about losing it, it's keeping it off .
Anyway, I currently weigh 94.4 kilos and my ideal weight is 55 -59 kilos.
So I have my work cut out for me.
Yesterday was interesting as it was the first session with the Personal Trainer since I started the program. He has had other clients on Cohens and kept the exercise to cardio rather than the big heavy weights I had been doing. So apart from a little light headedness I was fine.
All in all a pretty positive beginning

day 7

Well today I got off to a bad start. Yesterday I got caught up with a whole lot of housework stuff and missed 2 pieces of fruit This resulted in me waking up starving! I gobbled my breakfast before heading off to a session with the Personal Trainer. I had absolutely no energy and felt wretched by the time I got to work.

To make matters worse I was in a workshop all day which meant I was dependent on the facillitator to call for break times.

The temptation to dive into the mints on the table was incredible but I resisted.

I have learnt a serious lesson. You really should eat all your allowance.
Good news is that my trousers felt quite baggy so something is defintely happening. Tomorrow I'll take my measurements to see how I'm faring.
