Are all lettuces created equal?

We like red leaf and spinach mainly, and romaine less, but should we push ourselves to make romaine #1 - which has the most food value?

I was always told spinach has the most food value followed by romaine ... anyone else know differently? I hear that iceberg has literally no food value to it ...
 
Spinach and the different kinds of lettuce have different nutrients. I'd say just eat a variety of greens. The green and red leaf lettuce won't keep as long though.
