Appetite Suppressants...Foods

this is fascinating.. especially because in the nutrition thread someone had posted about apples being really filling. I find that to be the case too... When I have an apple for my morning snack, I eat less at lunch and don't have as many cravings as I do when I pack raisins or a granola bar... Apples are SO amazing...

Does anyone have a good pesto recipie? I keep hearing about how good it is for you, but i've never made it before...

Oh! and almonds are fantastic - if you have a chocolate craving, try a dark chocolate almond nugget.... one of the ladies I work with has them on her desk, and when i have a craving I stop by - they are only like 30 calories a piece, which I probably burn off walking to her office and back =) that is.. if I can keep to just one!

Yes, spicy is a big plus. If I eat corn, even out of the can, I will pour red pepper all over it and it tastes awesome. Even with this dish being very very lo cal, the spice will thin your blood, causing you to sweat. Thats why mexican and other latin dishes are so spicy by culture. The spice thins you out and makes you sweat, cooling you down.

'Twas me

"Apples: Apples pack a lot of fiber -- twice as much in every bite as peaches, grapes and grapefruit. Fiber helps turn on the fullness switch and prevents you from overeating. Get into the habit of eating an apple before dinner. Chances are, you’ll eat less of your meal as the fiber starts to kick in."

Much agreed!

Thanks for this post, btw.
