I officially started the day after Christmas. I can't beleive that I let 70 lbs. come back!!! Anyway, I am 278 on the 27th, and on the 31st 275! So I'm on my way.
4 years ago I lost almost 100 lbs. 98 to be exact. I looked and felt great. That's why I kick myself in the butt now.

After work - 1.5 miles on the treadmill and some weight training for the tone. Tonight (New Years Eve), remember your on a diet!!!

Hey bud thought Id stop by........ Yea it's evil new years eve so try and stick to your diet. What diet are you on? just watching what you eat or some type of pre structured diet?

I figure the best thing for me to do is just stay home and that way i am not tempted...plus I just dont want to be on the roads..ya knowwhatImean...

The wife is a firm believer in the four or five smaller meals during the course of the day, so you never get hungry. So portion control four to five times in the day. I've cut way back on the carbs, and exercise. I joined one of the gyms by the house and plan to make good use of it.

The small meals throughout the day is what I did before and it worked well until I gave up on it. I have my gym membership suspended since I got sick and I might reactivate it but when I go back to work it's hard to go to the gym since I'm not on the same schedule every day......

I was a good boy for New Years. I did go to the gym after work. 2 miles on the treadmill and the weight circuit. Afterward when the wifey came home we wen out to get some chinese food. I stuck with the roast chicken on a stick and a few other choices that didn't have any of the sauce on it. Stayed away from he rice and noodles. This resturant also has a grill. You pick the meat and veggies and they grill it up for you. Afterward we went to see "National Treasure". Good night.

I have to keep myself out of chinese restaurants... I don't think I could show such restraint! :)
 
Thank you. The wife went with me to the gym yesterday. I guess I tried to show off a little too much. Today I'm really sore. :smilielol5:
We checked out "The Biggest Loser Couples" last night. So all I have to do is work out 8 hours a day with a trainer yelling at me. Why didn't someone fill me in?

Jan. 1
Breakfast - 2 scambled eggs with diced up tomatoes, peppers, chives and garlic.
Lunch - some roast chicken
Dinner - Black Eye Pea and Collard Green Soup (It's a southern thing)

Howdy,Ty for stopping by my diary, it looks like since you have been there done that,you most certainly know what your doing,your menue looks gr8 and yummy by the way ,and joing a gym way to go!!I have gym phobia lol haven't been there and I have been saying I will try it out,lol I even sighned up for the YMCA paid the 1st month,got cold feet and didn't go,I guess I would rather go for a really long walk or since it is cold lock my bedroom door and stationary bike,dance ect,where no one can see me hahaha.

Breakfast - 2 boiled eggs, 2 slice of bacon
10:00 - 3 rolled ham and cheese slices with dill pickles
2:00 - tuna fish
Dinner - Hillbilly soup (cabbage and tomatoes):)
 
Not a very good work out day. I found out that the eliptical machine really bothers my knee. So I backed off and did some circuit training, and the treadmill.

Breakfast - 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon
10:00 - My rolled up ham and dill pickle 2 slices
2:00 - Tuna
6:30 - Broiled chicken and veggies
