If so, mind sharing your experiences? I enjoy interval training, and I'm looking to loose around 21 lbs of fat and gain some muscle. Just wondering if tabata sprinting 3 times a week would be a good way to do this.
Tabatas are hell, plain and simple The beauty of Tabatas is that they can be used in multiple ways, such as traditional "weight" exercises and body weight exercises, besides sprinting and cardio.
However, I don't think that using anything exclusively is ever the answer to weight loss. Focus your efforts on your weight training, and use cardio/interval methods such as tabatas, intervals, HIIT, and even the occasional SS to produce variations in your training for greater fat loss.
