Weight VS Fat

The weight of your body is made up from everything to fat, muscle, bones, water, ect. Everything in your body adds towards your weight. What these pants will do is promote sweating and aid in the removal of water from the body. This does in fact cause a drop in weight but it isn't a fat-loss technique. A serving of carbs and a bunch of water and you can have any lost weight back on within hours or less in this scenario using those pants.

I've met people who've used similar methods but not for FAT LOSS. People who've been cutting WEIGHT and trying to make a weight class are typically who you'd see go through that sweaty torture. George St Pierre, an MMA fighter, would use something like these sweat pants if he had only a day or two to remove weight and enter a certain weight class. You trying to become healthy and live a normal life... you will not require something like sweat pants.

What I think when I look at these pants is the possible pimples! lol. I find excess sweating causes my skin to break out a little bit and having on water tight pants holding large amounts of sweat against the skin would only make that worse I'd imagine.

Some might think these pants will promote spot reduction but I assure you they will not. Spot reduction is a bit of a myth until you learn about some advanced techniques that make it possible.

Healthy food and proper exercise are the things that will make the desired changes to your body.

Yup - if there were a magic short cut to the weight loss thing - someone would be very rich and we would all be at our ideal weight!
Remember - anything worth having is worth working for! You can do it - you don't need the gimmicks (unless they help you to work out and eat better - lol!)

WHY oh why would you want to sweat when you aren't moving...that's one of the more horrible ideas I've run across. Gross. While you sleep? I would not be able to sleep. Better hope you don't wake up too late for a shower ever... not trying to be mean it just sounds awful.

Ewww - imagine how you would smell after a night of sweating in your pants! I agree with HarperSi - it would really suck if you woke up to late to shower! lol:smilielol5:

LOL... the product takes its literal meaning too?

Find it strange that its marketing department allowed it to promoted along the lines of "you can even wear it while sleeping"... not realizing this could raise some negative views?.... Maybe they are inexperienced

Pretty much what GoofyNewfie said. There's no shortcut or lazy way to loose weight in my opinion. Of course crash diet and other diet/gimmick might work, in short term, but from my and other experience the weight alway comes back, if not more of it.

Also kudo's for talking about GSP GoofyNewfie, he's my idol since a while ;)

All I know about them is that it helps reduce water weight. Not actually effective. You are better off buying a program like P90X or Zoomba or something of that sort and do the work it takes to lose your weight. Shortcuts leads to failure my friend.

I've been training for 3 years by now, about 2-3 times a week. I do cardio (running) and muscular training and I also take bodypump classes once a week. Before I bought the hotpants, I was already in a good shape (130lbs for 5,5 foot), but I arrived at a plateau and I couldn't loose more weight. I decided to try the hotpants after I saw a deal on the internet. With the hotpants, you sweat a lot, and that's what make you loose weight. But it's useless if you don't train, because you will only loose water. If you do cardio training, you will get to a point where the temperature (in the hotpants) get so hot that you burn the fat by sweating. I've wanted to reach the 120lbs and I achieved it after 2months and I have maintained it for 6months now. I love it!

In conclusion, I would say the hotpants are a good accessory to burn fat more faster and deeper, but you have to train and have a good diet. Don't expect to get good results if you only sleep with them.

Ps: Sorry if my english is bad, I'm french ;)

I would say that it is better if you go with the any of the weight loos plan instead of taking some medicines. I have heard a lot of Dukan Diet plan..

Can't recommend the expense in getting Hot Pants. Got mine thru Groupon last year. Terrible experience. First order came - wrong size. Had to return and reorder. Second one came - wrong size again. Returned again ( at a HUGE POSTAGE expense ). Hot Pants came, were in the size ordered but didn't fit. You have to fit the perfect figure for them or you are sunk. They went into the trash. Think I had spent about $30. (after the original cost) returning the pants & never got one that fit. Stick to common sense. Exercise and eat appropriately!
