So I just started my diet/healthy living/new-me thing a couple of weeks ago and I am finding that nearly every night I am having vivid dreams about food. I had a dream the other night that I was walking around my college campus and everything was made out of ice cream. I looked down at my hand and saw that I was holding an ice cream scoop so I started scooping ice cream off the sidewalks and buildings and just stuffing my face like crazy.
There is always a moment in these dreams where I suddenly remember that the foods I'm eating are going to ruin my progress and I freak out! It's such a relief to wake up and realize that I haven't actually consumed someone's entire birthday cake or something.
I know this isn't specifically fitness related, but I thought it was funny/disturbing and was wondering if anyone else has had this experience when beginning a diet. So how about it--any diet-related sleep disturbances out there?

OK...well its pretty jumbled up...the food related part had something to do with Humpty Dumpty and all the Kings men were coming to put him back together again lmao and then I was in a candy land and someone was putting sugar gumdrops down and I started to eat the forest which was made of cake and I was trying to use the frosting to cover up the part I ate
I wasn't really a giant but I had a view of all the land.
