Anyone else get this?

Since i started this diet, 8 times out of 10, when i stand up after sitting down for a couple of minutes i black out.
Basically everything starts fading into black then goes back to normal.
The time it does this in varies, it can fade, and go normal again in 4 seconds. Other times, it can fade to black and return to normal in 15 seconds.

One thing i am certain about, when i exercise for ages and sit down to rest, when i stand up again its a lot worse. At school we had to do a running test and when i stood up after a rest i lost balance as well as the black out.
Some days i dont have it, i would say 5 days out of every month i dont get them, every other day i do.

What is causing it? And does anyone else get it?

I would think that what you're experiencing is malnourishment. What kinds of things are you doing for your diet? Are you getting enough calories? or does your body think that you are starving yourself? I'm not an expert on this kinds of things, but I think I can safely say that blacking out and getting dizzy ever since you started the diet, is not good.

Ive been having the recommended cals to lose weight. Ive been eating healthier things. I know what i'll do, ill have 2 vitamin tablets now and see if i get the black outs later on.

You're blacking out? That's not good...and probably something you should be very concerned about.

Can you please tell us how many calories a day you are eating? What kinds of foods you are eating? And your exercise regime?

I'm seriously worried about the episodes you are having.

In another post you stated that you were eating a very low amount of calories. you proably are malnourished. You should go see a doctor to make sure there isn't more to this, and have him/her recommend the correct amount of calories for your age/weight/size etc.
I know you are only 15. You need to make sure that you are learning safe and postiive ways to lose weight that will last you a life time. rather than taking on unhealthy habits that might cause serious health complications that will last a life time.
good luck with it, please talk to a health professional about doing it 'right'!

Im not eating to little, sometimes i eat over what i should to lose 2 lb a week. I would go to a doctor but my mum and dad think its unnessasary (spelling), and my mum said she got the same thing when she lost her weight a few years back.

I get those black-outs every once in a while, when we have to run in gym. But for me it only happens once every couple of months. You're maybe overworking yourself (regardless that you're eating enough).

Please don't get defensive with us. we are trying to be helpful and look out for you. We, who've been there, done that think you might like to see a doctor. We want to see you be healthy, and happy.
good luck

What does blood have to do with it?
You dont lose blood when you exercise.

Maybe there's something in particular missing in your daily diet, such as iron. Can you post maybe yesterday's and today's menu?

I know sorry. I just got annoyed because people are telling me this and that and i dont know whos right and whos wrong.

Are you diabetic? Could it be that your blood sugar is too low?

No i'm not. It could just be that my suger intake is a bit low. Not much healthy food contains sugar.

P.s. Before i started the diet and for my whole life up to the start of the diet i never had the black outs. It MUST be something im not getting as much of in my diet.
