I work part time as a nanny and I find it very difficult to eat correctly when I am at the kids' house.
They have all this stuff that I don't buy (and wouldn't because I am not strong enough to not eat it once it is there) so when I go over I end up eating salami, and cheese sticks, and chips, and chocolate...
I actually gained 11 pounds last year and I think it was mainly because I started working 3 days a week at theirs instead of 1. The mom also makes the nicest choc cgip cookies Ihave ever seen. They are huge, probably like 700 cals per cookie, and I sed to eat at least 1, often 2 of them in one day.
Now that I am not eating gluten it is a bit better, but I still eat all of the above mentioned. Argh!!!! I am very thankful they have a lot of fruit usually so I can eat that too. But they aren't great fans of vegetables, so I never dine a salad or anything like that when at theirs (which I do when home). Today I am working 11 hours at theirs and I am already dreading it.
