i reckon that would be the worst life!

You think? You see i'm an incredibly lazy person and to me, it seems as though there isn't really much work involved in this line of work. In my mind, once you get the initial set up going, you're on ya way. However in saying that, i don't really know a whole lot about (nothing at all really) this business, so i'm only assuming here.

My mom was making a living off of ebay for a while, but now she's doing it part time. It's a pretty reliable income source if you find the right stuff to sell.

I make my living as a web designer, and internet marketer. As well as running a bunch of different types of websites, from online stores to entertainment websites.

It is fun, and time consuming. Some may think that not a lot of time goes into this type of thing, but, I work 7 days per week.

The great part is that when you move or go different places, your work comes with you and there is no need to start over.

I can't say that I have met anyone who makes an income because of the internet who does not put in a lot of working hours.

The most successful internet person I know works in website hosting and email hosting. He makes 7 figures, still works 6 - 7 days per week, and has the stress that any business owner has.

making your own fitness site or physio site would be cool! ecspecially if it was famous and got asked to go on oprah!
That being said id still like to work at least a bit in the world, wheres the human contact??

Yeah im not staying a wanna be stuck in front of a computer 24/7, i love the outside n seeing people like mates n tht, but i was just thinkin of starting my own online buisness, n im interested in selling on ebay, and making websites as i did a bit at college and thought it was good, i dont fancy working 7 days a week thou, i was hoping i could work less days maybe 4 instead of 5(which im currently doing at a job which is just outside of the nearest town)

I was hoping i could earn about £200-300 a week, n work 4 days a week, 8-4

or something similar

Anyone think this is possible for an 18 year old?

Thanks Jackie x

Guess i was wrong about the time thing then. I like the fact that work goes wherever you do...I actually didn't think of that.

I have made a few bucks on the internet. I use this site where you click there ads and you get a penny for each click; try to add up referalls and such. I' have made 5 dollars in 2 weeks...I had it sent to paypal just last night.

A friend of mine earns about $2,000 a week playing Second Life. She's a property tycoon on the site and buys big bits of land and breaks it up. She's just started getting into the on-line rental market too, LMAO, why the hell do people spend money to 'rent' an imaginary apartment? Kids these days are thick.

Apparently it takes a while to work up to this level of income unless you have a large amount of cash to pay upfront for the initial land purchases

Another friend of mine made about £300 ($600) DJing at a party on Second Life.

I refuse to go on it because it sounds so damn sad, living your life online, how dumb is that?! But there is real money to be made

Be warned though, my property tycoon friend has said that the real 'boom' in the housing market is well and truely over and it's harder to make money now

Well, I'm part of the team who run this well known UK website, which I wont be advertising here, as it might make non-uk residents very CONFUSED, espeically about their INSURANCE.

I was just reading an article last night at about net marketing and those that had launched into this business are working an average of 25-30 hours a week and bringing in $60-120K a year. I wish someone had urged me to get into this.

Work less than I do now and make more.

Making a living off of the internet is more then just eBay. Also web design I wouldnt classify as living the internet lifestyle. Info products are a great way to make tons of cash.

Google Yanik Silver, or hell look at Ryan Lee. They make tons off of their products online. Craig Ballantyne has a six figure online training biz.
