any tips or ideas for me ?

i've been on my diet and exercise routine for the past 3 or 4 weeks.
i have been working very hard.
i've cut out EVERYTHING to drink except for water
i stopped eating fried foods, and ive been limiting my calories to anywhere between 1000 to 1600 calories a day, along with about a gallon or more of water a day

i also have been working out 6 days a week
switching up which weight training exercise everyday because i dont want to overwork the same muscles as well as moving at my own pace
and i do about an hour to 2 hours of cardio a day.. depending on how i feel

needless to say i dont see much of a change, but it isnt gonna stop me
i'd jus like some help, some tips, some ideas of what else i could be doing or what i should change from my current routine because i am feeling a little bit down


ps. i'm about 5'9" and weight abt 210ish
 
I think there will be something tripping you up somewhere that you havnt taken into account. Try logging your foods and actually weighing them and log its all on fitday.com or similar.
My sister-in-law had the same thing happening, turns out the marg she was using was some super high fat/cal one, she switched that out and suddenly things worked.
 
ive been very careful actually with the things i have been eating.
but i think the problem may be that im not eating enough ?
at least i read that somewhere
either way it confuses me lol
 
head down to the nutrition forum and read the stickied threads there - one of those threads will give you an idea of an approximate number of calories to shoot for.

Is too low a range causing you to not lose weight? I doubt it... but you want to keep your calories as high as possible so that when you get closer to your goal weight you have room to wiggle.. - right now -you can't go anyhwere...

After you've done reading the nutriution stickies then go to the On Topic thread and start reading those stickies..

there's a lot of good info on this forum availablr to help you - start reading and see what you can apply to yourself
