any tips on spinning?

hi guys!

I am starting my cardio workout tomorrow, I bought a stationary bike. It has programs so I won't cheat as much I hope,

I like spinning because when I´ve tried it before it makes me feel powerful. Like biking all that much and getting nowhere makes me want to work harder haha..

I want to know if there are any special recommendations on spinning, how much time I should workout- stretching etc.

also I want to combine it with yoga-and add some resistance later on. ideas?

thanks!

.

For my "dual action" VitaMaster Flow stationary bike, I initially set it for time. For example, 30 minutes. Figured if I peddled slower, I still did the time amount - and didn't work out as hard. Then, I set for miles traveled. Figure I could peddle slow and still do the distance. For now, I set my TM's meter for both Calories burn and Time Counter "display rotation". Regardless if I peddle slow or fast pace, my body is buring the 400 calories - for that specific session. In other words, no cheating on calories burn - even if I peddled slower.

As a suggestion, try calories burn meter with Time Counter rotation. Try 400 under 45 minutes. If that's too easy (for your body), try doing 500 calories burn within 45 minutes. If that's too easy, try 600 calories burn under 45 minutes.

Works for me...

thanks! that makes sense.

I am currently doing aprox 30 min but it is only week one.
I try to do intervals and peddle both slow and fast- slow with a bit more resistance and fast without resistance. I want to achieve an hour and a half in a couple of weeks
