Any Teenagers out there?

I'm a 17 year old Teenager and I'm trying to find some support to lose weight. I noticed that everyone here seems to be in their 20s and up.

I am currently 205 pounds, and my height is 5'8". Not a very good picture, but I plan to lose it, and I'm changing my ways starting the very second I post this message.

I'm 19 for a few more months, so I guess you could still consider me a teenager. It truly is tough to be an overweight teenager. When I was 14, I weighed in at 295 and naturally all I thought about was my weight and how I could lose it. What I really found to be the problem was just getting started. I kept telling myself I wanted to lose weight, but I would then just get discouraged because of how big I was. Once I finally decided to lose weight through exercise and portion control and saw the initial results it just motivated me more. It took me only about a year to drop down to 200 without any surgery. As long as you are dedicated to weight loss there honestly is nothing that can stop you from reaching your goals.

Hi, 16 year old here.

Not trying to lose much weight, I'm 126 pounds at 5'4 and I'm hoping for 120.

Here if you need me!

Hi!! I JUST turned 19. I've been overweight since I was about 10; probably due to the unhealthy school lunches they served us.... It has been so hard throughout high school being overweight. I was constantly paranoid that people were talking about me behind my back. I just didn't get it at first, as I always ate less than all my other friends and healthier too, yet I still was heavier than them - I guess it was just my bodys way of dealing with the changes I was going through.

Obviously, because I was both growing in height and width I got stretch marks :( although they are starting to fade. When I was thirteen I weighed 160lbs and I started to grow into my weight - although when I was fourteen I went on holiday to see my grandma.... And I put on about 12lbs. I have managed to maintain since, as I have been so busy with school and other stuff for three years.... But now I've started my lifestyle change and I'm feeling g.r.e.a.t!! It also did kinda pay off being overweight in high school as I studied a lot more than my classmates and did really well :) I didn't like to go out too much as all my friends could wear such nice clothes, and I looked like a sack of potatoes!! :p

I'm 19 too. It's tough being overweight in High School, but remember, people actually care a lot less about your weight than you do

Hey,
I'm 19 for three more months.
But I've been overweight since I was about 10!
I was bullied for almost 7 years constantly, so I gave in to pressure and lost weight, and did it stupidly. I gained 5 stone after losing not even 2!
So now I'm doing it for me, at my own pace. It's taking a while due to set backs with jobs and stuff but I'm getting there.
