Any suggestions?

I've become interested in changing my eating habits. Lately, I've been eating when I'm hungry, three times a day, but not the best foods. I want to gain muscle, so I'm not concerned about losing weight in general, but rather, specifically fat. I'm almost eighteen, and I don't know if it's too young to change my diet too much.
I don't want to go on a "lettuce-only" type of diet, and would be particularly pleased if I didn't have to change what I eat at all, just when and how much I eat at a time. However, people have been telling me the success of diets such as the South Beach Diet. Does anyone have any suggestions about
Does anyone have any suggestions that would help my little dilemma?

~Thanks.

The diet abear suggested looks great.

Another suggestion I'd make is to eat BEFORE you're hungry. This should help keep the portions down. You really should eat more than 3x/day, more like 5-6x/day with smaller portions. Your body will thank you for it by dropping some of the excess.
