I have been trying to lose weight since last year and have lost almost 100 pounds! I have 33 more than I want to lose but I seemed to have stopped losing weight...
I've been counting calories w/sparkpeople.com and staying in my calorie range. I also monitor my sodium ranges as well and 80% of the time I eat healthy foods and avoid things like chips, cookies ect. but sometimes I have these on the weekends if I can stay in my range. I eat 3 meals and at least 2 snacks throughout the day.
I mix up my exercise routine alot. I have been doing the 30 day shred and I made it to level 3 after 2 months! I also mix walking/jogging, with Tae bo and the stepper machine. I had been walking at the beginning of summer, but then I tried Tae bo, then the stepper and now I am back to walking. I also do Pilates.
I take at least one day of rest each week but I aim to do 5-6 days of working out if I can. I also drink plenty of water, at least 12 cups maybe 15 or more if I am really working out.
So...but now I am not losing and I am not sure why. Any suggestions? I was thinking of eating more (like 1700-1800 calories a day) and hoping it will boost my metabolism...
