Hi ladies and gents,
I’ve been having a read through a lot of threads on this site in the hope of information on shin-splints.
My problem appears to be different than most of the posts that I have read here. I read how people get them during running etc. My problem is that I’m getting them about three minutes into light walking, and raising the pace slightly almost turns me into a cripple after about ten minutes. I for obvious reasons no longer jog or play touch footy (I was never dedicated to either of these, just enjoyed doing them), and am finding this is really starting to take over some big parts of my life and make it a misery, as I walk about 3km to and from work, and love taking my Labrador for big walks everyday. The dog hates it when I have to sit down for five minutes after every 10-15 mins of walking.
I’ve tried stretching, purchased good running shoes, even rubbed deep heat into them, all to no help.
If anyone could help me out I’d greatly appreciate it.
Thankyou
