any help? (New to lifting)

i going to buy some dumbells to do my arms.. just wondering on what weight to go for.. i know i could lift an avarage weight size... would these be ok? 35kg or shall i start a bit lower. but then again i think on these on could pull some of the weights of.

but yer im very new to lifting.

35 kg... so that's around 77 lbs. It depends on what exercise you're planning to use them for. I would think that if you're just starting out on lifting, you should go for lower weights and work on proper form and get the feel for the exercises you're doing first. 77 lbs, I dunno, but that seems to be ALOT to me if you're thinking about working the biceps.

only isolation work for the arms wont really get you far, sorry. You need to train your entire body to really see and feel results.

Thats good to start with since the dumbells are adjustable. However its only gonna be about 35lbs per bar. You can always eventually get more weight for them as you progress. You can do much more with dumbells than curls. You can pretty much do any bodypart with a set of dumbells, which is what you should be doing.
