Turned thirty about a month ago. I was an athlete in college and kept myself fairly in shape in my twenties. But I let things slide the last couple of years and I am determined that this decade will be one of good health and sharp looks (as much as a thirty year old with two children can have anyway). I have always been consistent in the gym, both weight training and cardio. I do sit on platues a lot with weight lifting but I have plans to break out of that. I need to get my eating patterns more consistent again, and lay off the happy drink, and I have taken steps to do that. I also need to work on my flexibility, and I admit I am having a hard time with.
The reason I am writing is that I recently discovered PC muscle exercises or sexercises as they are often known. Supposed to make my performance better and more controlled though I am suspicious it will have a measurable effect at this young age (I'm not that old!). Does anyone have any experience with these and anything to report? Either way, they only take a few minutes a day so I thought I would give them a try. But since I had never heard of them, I was wondering what else I might be missing out there. So I am writing to see if there is any other form of fitness, forgotten muscle groups or tricks, etc that I could add to my developing obsession to reach my peak fitness. Maybe even just a spin or home version of standard cardio or weight training techniques that might mix things up a bit. For instance, has anyone tried that rotating push up handles advertised on TV? I know they are not some miracle device of chest expansion, but it is something different, I was wondering if it is a viable option to add to my mix of chest exercises or just a worthless gimmick?
