Another flat stomach query

Hello,

I have been doing some form of training or another for the past 2.5 years and id like to be able to get a flat stomach... doesnt need to be defined, just flat... Im quite happy with the rest of my body at the moment.

At the moment i go to gym twice per week (which incorporates cardio and weight training) i also play...cough... mixed netball... cough... twice per week in my girlfriends team.

In terms of diet, it kinda varies... during the week i eat pretty well... plenty of meat & vegetables which are cooked with little if any oils/fats etc... i also eat plenty of fruit...
The weekend can be a different story as i dont mind having a beer or three but generally i dont go overboard.

I have had this dreaded spare tyre for as long as i can remember... really want to get rid of it...
Will i need to do more weight/cardio training? Will execises that target this area only help
