I'm 5'8.5" and have a large frame. I weigh 232lbs. I am really disgusted with myself because about 2 years ago I was 195lbs. I watched myself gain weight and at each milestone promised not to gain anymore. When I got to 210, i promised not to go any further. Even at 220 I promised not to go any further, and look, I'm at 232. When I was 195, i had lost from 244. I would like to get down to about 180. That is still high but I think that I will be good at that weight. I do like to exercise and strength train which I truly believe in. When I was at 195, I was in a size 10. I know that is hard to believe but I contribute it to weight training and how I carry my weight. At 232, I wear a size 14. So I think that I will be fine at 180. Nothing under 170.

Now here is the kicker, even though I know that I shouldn't, I really would like to lose 20lbs in 5 weeks. I just need this as a jump start. I am good at losing initial weight and putting it back on but I feel as though 20 would really get my attention and motivate me. I'm 37 years old and don't plan to have any more kids. I have 2 girls, 9 and 5 years old. I was able to lose the weight after each pregnancy but vacations usually help me put the weight back on. 7 day cruises don't help diets that much. I exercised 5 of the 7 days and still gained 5 lbs. I like to eat and I seem to like to eat a lot and I need to quit. I know that my weight gain comes from my eating habits.

Ok, why do I want to lose 20lbs in 5 weeks???? I'm going to Jamaica and would really like to feel somewhat comfortable in a bathing suit. I know that I will be so self conscious if I don't lose some weight beforehand. Even if I was to lose about 4 or 5 inches off my stomach would be great. For someone who doesn't like to do ab workouts, I better get a move on it and make it my nightly or morning routine. I need motivation to do my ab workouts and to really curb my eating.

I am starting this weight loss program called total solutions that uses the thin and healthy products and garantees that I will lose 2-7lbs a week. I know that this doesn't sound good but I'm desperate right now and am willing to give it a try. I will be letting yall know how things will be going. Please feel free to give me advice and motivation, of course. I do like to exercise so I have that on my side. Just something in my defense, the people on the biggest loser loses lots of weight in short periods of time with the right diet so why can't I???:newbie:
