Hi
I just got directed here from google. Thot i'ld try it. Ok, i'm here just for my tummy. I don't mind other parts of my body, I just need this stomach gone. Help me anyone who knows what actually works. Joined gyms but i must confess now that I hardly go in. 2005 is coming tho and i'm starting with d positivity now. So anybody with ideas? help!!!
Hi 2 everyone here too. U'll all get ur body's where u want them 2 be. Just be positive!!

HI there,

welcome to the forum.

From what I learned here, unfortunately you can't spot reduce, which means that if you start an exercise program your tummy probably isn't the first thing to go, but still - don't give up because of that. You will get fit and eventually that part will go too. I hear that a lot of cardio is good for starters.

Hi Lisa
Thanx 4 ur reply. I'm probably gonna be one of those people 2 bug u a lot. I hope u don't mind. I do run and walk a lot so I guess that might be good. I need advice on a diet that would go with it. I love 2 eat too so I need an easy start with d diet thing and then I can go on to the harder ones, if there's such a way. There might be a link here that answers these questions. If there is please let me know so that I'm not a pain. With work and college I hardly find d time to look thru a whole lot of pages.
Thanx.
Hi everyone in the forum. Set a goal for the next 7days and try and achieve at least 85%. I'll try too! ciao!!

welcome ... take the food that you normally eat in a day and break it into 6 meals instead of 3 ... and try to make your biggest meal your lunch as you don't need lots of energy at night to sleep.

maybe list here in the forum, what you eat in a day, that way we can give pointers on if and where there is room for improvement. btw I agree with the 6 smaller meals a day or better for me 3 meals plus 3-4 snacks.

I've heard that to loose your tummy, you need to move your whole body. A brisk walk is a big help (just as much so as running) You need to keep your heartrate up for 20 min's (at least thats what oprah's diet coach is saying)

aaww guys,
Thanx so much 4 ur replies.
Was at the gym yesterday and I had a fitness coach do some work with me so I did 40mins of intensive cardio, which he says i'm supposed 2 be doing more than that, some weights and ab crunches. I always did them wrong but now i know how to really do them.

@ lisa, he agreed that to loose my tummy fat, you have to work out the whole body and that will eventually get toned too, so I figured it will be nice 2 tone all over so i'm really excited. So we set a goal and i'm having an accessment in february and i hope i achieve it by then. So I went 2 work after d gym and then home. Woke up this morning and my body is sore. Allover!!!
Will take a coupla dayz off tho and then go back Friday. Hmmmm.... xmas eve. Maybe not, cuz I have to work too. I suppose I can do some crunches and weights from home tho. oh, my normal diet would be
cereal @ 7:30 am
tea and toast @ 11
Lunch. A lot of times I don't have time 2 cook at home the nite before so I have some fast food. And I know this is my weak point. Cuz i go to mcD, Burger king, KFC or wotever it is i feel like eating. Spoke with my fitness coach about that too and I decided that yesterday was d last day so i'm going food shopping today. When I cook tho, I make rice, pasta or potatoes most of the time.
Okay, then I have some snacks, crisps, chocs, coke say around 6
then home probably around nine and decide 2 just have some cake, cookies or ice cream or anything sugary. I always have that craving whenever I get home.
I love sugar, butter and cheese too but I learned they're things I have 2 fall out of love with.
So I'm trashing a whole lotta food out of my fridge and then getting the new stuff.
going home for xmas tho and eating all the nice stuff. Then the real deal starts. I just can't resist my xmas diner, even if it try. Is that a bad sign? Maybe i'll munch on lots of salads.

@ allcdnboy
Thanx, I also got that from my fitness coach to split my food into two and eat them withing 2-3hrs intervals instead of all at once.

@ newbride02
Thanx. U know, that oprah book mite actually be a good bargain. I'll see if it isn't too expensive.

muah!! U guys are all the best. I mean, you don't even know me. thanx all!!
