An Epiphany and Motivation to Keep on Track...

As some of you know I have been going thru some serious mood swings just from the aggravation and feelings associated with the break-up of a long term relationship. I am so CRABBY - it is amazing even to me :mad: at times.

I have decided each time I feel bad or depressed or any other of the myriad of new non-positive emotions I have been feeling as of late, I will not reach for a spoon and some Ben & Jerry's. No, I will just simply put on my workout gear and step to it. So far, it's been wonderful for relieving the pent-up energy I have been channeling. I just pretend I'm kicking my husband's butt as I work off the pounds.

By the time, the divorce goes through, I should be the epitome of fitness...:)
 
Good for you!!! Way to stay positive!!! And just think of how he will be kicking himself when he see's how awesome you look when you're all in shape and buff. hehehe
 
Wow, I'm impressed. Thanks for the inspiration. My divorce just went through after one year of separation. I hear ya, on the myriad of emotions, depression, anger, states of overwhelm, lack of confidence, FUN hey??? Gawd.

You are so right, exercise and eating healthy are FANTASTIC things to do for ourselves, they are acts of self-love which make us strong, strong, strong.

Way to go!
