Well, here is the next challenge I'm running. If you're interested, get a team together and post your team members here.

RULES

1. Each week we’ll “travel” to a new destination. The travel time will be the amount of exercise each team must complete in order to get maximum pts. If a team “reaches” their destination, they’ll get 10pts. If they reach 80% of their destination they’ll get 8pts. So if the travel time is 15hrs and the team exercises 15hrs, they’ll get 10pts plus an additional 5pts bonus. If they only exercise 12hrs they’ll get 8pts. Percentages will be rounded down to the nearest tenth.
2. No team member may do more than 50% of the weekly exercise, and each team member must do at least 10% of the weekly exercise.
3. Each week there will be a bonus. The bonuses will consist of Detours or Roadblocks. Detours are tasks that all team members must complete in order to get the bonus pts. Team members will have 2 options to choose from, and the team doesn’t have to choose the same option. Teams will receive 10pts if each member completes 1 option. Roadblocks are only done by one team member. The team will decide which member will do the Roadblock. There will be 4 detours and 4 roadblocks. Only 1 team member may perform 2 roadblocks, the other 2 members can only do one roadblock. The team will receive 10pts for completing a roadblock. Roadblocks and Detours will have something to do with that week's destination.
4. Each week the team with the most weight loss will be safe from elimination. Teams will also get pts for weight loss. If there are 10 teams, the team with the most weight loss will get 10 pts, the 2nd place team will get 9pts on down to the team with the least amount of weight loss. That team will get 1pt.
5. Each week the team with the lowest pts may be eliminated. There will be 2 non-elimination weeks, but no one will know until the end of the week if it’s a non-elimination week or not (not even me). Unlike my previous challenges, points will not be carried over to the next week. All teams will start at 0pts at the beginning of each week.
6. Each week will start on Friday and end on Thursday. All teams must update their weekly progress and weigh in by midnight EST (GMT -5hrs) each Friday. (like the BLS Challenge) If a team fails to do so, they will not receive any pts for that week.
7. Teams will consist of 3 members and you will form your own teams. If you would like to be on a team but do not have 2 other mates, I can match you up with others if you PM me. There is no maximum amount of teams that may enter, and the number of teams eliminated each week will depend on the number of teams who enter. There will be no individual phase.
8. The 8-week challenge starts March 7th and ends May 1st. The deadline to declare you team is March 4th at 10pm EST (GMT -5hrs). I will start Team threads and announce the first week’s “destination” and bonus on March 5th.

Will all the roadblocks and detours be exercise related, or are you going to have food ones like the fiber, veggies, empty calories ones also?

The roadblocks and detours will be very different from the bonuses in my previous challenges. Some of them will involve food, others exercise. However, many of them are one time things--not something you have to do everyday. And because only one teammate does the roadblocks, for 2 or 3 of the 8 weeks, you won't have to do anything for bonus pts. I know you don't like to mess with counting pts, etc, and there really won't be any of that in this challenge. I think you would really enjoy it, and have fun. :)

So whaddarya waiting for? Get some teamies together and sign up. :D

I only asked because I know a lot of the stuff I eat have "empty calories", and I don't get enough fruits and veggies... I wouldn't want to hurt my team members by losing out on points! I'll have no trouble doing exercise challenges or food challenges!

Now I need to hunt down 2 team mates...
