I am a big guy and think weight should be coming off faster then it is.... Im only losing 2lbs a week... and im over 100 lbs overweight.... I weighed 300 last week and now I weigh 298 today.... I eat my calories, do 30 minutes on the treadmill & then weigh the next day and I weigh the exact same as the day before for like 4-5 days now, whats going on?+

what do you eat? how many calories
What are you doing with the 30 miutes on the treadmill?

and I'll say this as nicely as possible - well as nicely as I can - you didn't gain the weight overnight - it's not going to be lost over night -this is a process - a lifestyle change that takes learning and reevalualting along the way...

and donot get so hung up on the scale number - take measurements every 2 weeks... and note changes there..

the scale can be up 2lbs one day - and down 3lbs the next -doesnt mean you lost fat -just means the scale changed... measurments are far more accurate

Yup. What Mal says is exactly right. In the last month, the scale has barely shifted for me, but my jeans are much, much looser. And my measurements have shifted. You just have to tell yourself that weighing isn't the most accurate way to measure weight loss. I have to tell myself that every week when I weigh myself.

Plus, you want to lose the weight for good, right? Well, slow and steady is the best way to achieve long-lasting results. Lose it too fast and you're likely to gain it back.

I know it's frustrating. I am losing less than a pound a week at this point, which seems agonizingly slow, but it is coming off, and I'm feeling better. Focus on how you feel physically and mentally, and that will keep you going for the long haul.

Keep up the good work!

2lbs

It took me some time to lose all my excess weight also. It happens kinda slowly 2 lbs a week but if you keet at it and are persistant it WILL eventually be all gone!!!!!
