So I have recently changed to a healthy lifestyle by dropping fast food and attempting to eat all natural things as well as following a training program. I am concerned however that my diet may have to much good fat.

A usual day for me and how I have decided my guildline for diet should be.

RMR is about 2100-2300 calories I work out every 2nd day doing this workout

Mixing in also some curlups and hammer curls and some extra pushups over the course of the workout day and some crunches and tricep work.

I will do

Every day unless I feel burnt out even after starting to warm up so my body can rest

Breakfast: 2-4 Eggs usually scrambled with no liquid added (no milk or water) and whatever vegetable is closest to me (usually avocado/onion/pepper/mushrooms) ill cut up some vegetables and mix them in with the eggs on the grill. I will have some pure natural OJ sometimes or just water I will sometimes have a piece of whole wheat bread with the eggs.

I Also make some breakfast burritos sometimes with just salsa and whole wheat tortillas added.

I try and eat natural plain oatmeal when i can.

Snacks: I snack throughout the entire day on pistachios, slowly however. I will probably go through 200g bag over 2 days. I also sometimes have a slice of whole wheat toast with 100% natural peanut butter. The kind that is just peanuts and salt. Sometimes I will eat half an avocado sliced up. Othertimes I will have a 12 grain bagel with a bit of herb and garlic cream cheese.

Lunch: here's where I am bad, I am making an effort to eat more lunch but I wake up late (10am due to my work hours) so breakfast coincides with lunch. I am trying to focus on having a salad here, which will likely be spinach salad or maybe some brown wild rice with some lentils or something

Supper: I try to make sure i get 3 things here

1) Lean protein (fish/chicken breast/legumes)
2) Vegetables
3) Complex carb (wheat bread/pita/tortilla)

I try and drink as much water I can a day, I don't count I just try and drink it before i get thirsty and sip on it throughout the day. When i feel like something with taste i mix 100% OJ with carbonated water.

I have 1 cheat day a week which usually involves pepperoni pizza with whole wheat thin crust and bread sticks.

So can you see anything glaringly wrong here?

Guess what my friend, the amount of fat you eat actually doesn't mean all that much. The final calorie count does much more than fat. Ignore the yoga advice (sorry I have to say it) cause the workout you are doing is doing a lot more for you than yoga as long as you stretch.

Actually, what you are doing sounds like it will be fine for you. You are going to be building muscles here.

More numbers would help like height/weight/goal.

Height is 5'10", Starting weight was 210 but I am now down to 189, I don't really have a goal weight more that I would like to get down to a really low body weight percentile and then refine my workout more once I have my endurance built and access to a gym.

Well, if you can, get some blood work done with your doctor. That way you can check your levels. That will help you know if you need to cut on some things as well. I think that is the best way to go with that concern.

Honestly I'd be more concerned with the OJ than the fat content of your diet. The fat is healthy fat and therefore fine for the heart, and fat keeps you feeling full longer. Sugary beverages don't send the same signals to your body about being full or how many calories you get, so if you have to cut out more calories you may feel less hungry by cutting the juice than the fats.

Are you worried about the fat because you're not sure you're getting enough protein or for some other reason?
