Hello. I'm new here.

Not really sure what I'm doing or where to start. It looks like it could be beneficial.

I'm in my 20s, female, living in the frigid northeast. Trying to drop about 20 pounds. Or so.

I just joined a gym and am trying to figure out a good routine without coughing up the $40 an hour it takes for a personal trainer. I'm also trying to eat better and all that good stuff.

I've started off doing 20 minutes of cardio and then the weights circuit 3 days a week. I want to try to go on the off days and do 30 on the elliptical. I want to start setting a goal each week to start moving up. Not sure what I want to accomplish in the long run.

For now I'm just here to say hi and read posts. I'm sure I'll learn a lot and have questions down the line.
