Aloha Everyone, I am mommy2bbc and I am new to the forum. This is new to me. I am hoping that I will find some strenght and will power through the success stories and support on this forum to help me lose the weight that I need to lose and get started on a healthier lifestyle. Currently I am about 190lbs and I want to get down to 140lbs. It is so easy to say it but it take lots of discipline to do it.

I know what you mean about easier said than done. I have been battling the yo-yo for two years now. I had lost weight and was doing great and then stuff happened and slowly I started creeping back up again, and kept trying to fight it, and it seemed for every 2 lbs lost, I would gain 3lbs. But this time I am going to start going down and keep on going down. I have 30 ish pounds to lose, and it is hard.

I have so much respect for those on here who have lost 50 lbs or more and just keep on losing. I wish I had their strength and (you said it) discipline!!! Something we are always teaching our kids, but do not seem to follow suit. I never put it into the discipline perspective before. I kept thinking "will power" but "discipline" seems much more serious, and effective. My new motto...thanks.
