I am a 26 year old female who is finally ready to commit to a healthy lifestyle. Armed with a fabulous metabolism and and busy as a dancer, I never had to worry about weight as an adolescent. I was always skinny, however I still had a teeny pouch by my tummy...(I guess thats my problem area) It was not until the age of 23 hit I realized that staying in shape was not going to be as easy as it always was...suddenly I realized that I HAD to watch every morsel that I put in my mouth...and not working out was not an option..Being a student at a culinary school and eating amazingly delicous and fattening foods, did nothing for my figure ever...

With a crazy 80 hour a week work load, a brand new house, a fiancee to take care of, I fogot about feeding myself the right way in the process...Of coarse not admitting to myself that I was gaining weight was not helping either...

Now by no means am I overweight...Far from it...I'm 5'4 and 123.4 pounds to be exact...but I know that I can get to be tone and lean where I am the most healthiest...my Body Fat is also a bit higher than I would like it to be...so basically my goal here is to get some more ideas for getting out of the dieting mentality and getting some ideas for workouts...

Hi there. I just wanted to welcome you to the forum. You can do it. Stay motivated and what ever your goal is you will reach it. It is better to attack your issues early then to wait till they are big ones, like me. :waving:
