Hi everyone.
These boards are an excellent idea. I had to join up cause I'm in the market to drop some pounds. I am 23 years old and I recently became a father about 9 months ago... it was a stressful thing to go though and I ended up packing on some weight. At my lowest I was 190. I'm 6 feet tall. Now I'm up to 240. I've gained this weight over the course of a year. I want to lose weight so when my daughter gets a little older, I'll be in shape for any kind of activity she wants to do. I'm still in decent shape... I can jog for about a mile and not get to winded... I can do some push ups and sit ups... not many, but some.
I've tried to exercise on and off, never sticking with it. I HAVE quit drinking soda for awhile now. I guess I just need some proper motivation to get going.
Anyway, I look forward to sharing with you all my progress, and reading about everyone else's.
