Ahoi hoi all

Howdy all... I am currently sitting on the 249 edging to 250. This is a weight that I DONT want to see.

Things seemed to be going well, I was at 300 a few years back and worked my way down to the low 230's, but since I have moved into the dorms I have gained considerable weight in a short time. I only eat at chow times, no snacks and no pop, but I do, or should say did, drink alot of lemonade and flavored waters, but that may be adding to my problem... I suppose college food is not the best for me... I should be eating salad bar but then pizza bar looks so damn good.

what really gets me though, is 2 weeks ago I was running every night for a few weeks. I got really busy at school and have not had the chance to run lately... but even when I was running I was gaining weight. Very hard to keep myself motivated.


Anywho... I need this place! any advice on surviving the dorm world and evil temptations of the cafe would be greatly appreciated.

I would love to set my first mini goal as 229 by turkey day... think that this is realistic? probably a little tight at this point, maybe I should say 239.
 
Welcome to the boards! I myself have found lots of inforamtion, motivation and support here.

Are you following a specific food plan?

As far as a minigoal, I think 1-2lbs a week is supposed to be a healthy rate, but think those with more to lose might be able to lose more pr week.
