Ah. Weight loss diary!

I LOVE BASIL

I intend to lose a few kilograms (of fat and not of muscle if possible) so that I feel okay in shorts and so that my upper limbs look like upper limbs and not like indistinct blobs.

I really like the medial epicondyle of the humerus and I want mine to stop being invisible.


I'm going to start to exercise, e.g. go for runs, because a lot of the smart and educated people I know go for runs, and do yoga, because a lot of the sensitive and social justice minded hippies I know do yoga.


Also, I'm going to stop eating a packet of tim tams a day.

I'll eat fruit and vegetables and lentils and seeds and nuts and grains and fish and soy milk instead.

Ah, breakfast. I was off to an okay start, had a peacherine and an apricot, but then I ate a bowl of chips and two tim tams! :eek:


Rather than despairing that the day is ruined and resolving to begin afresh tomorrow, I'm telling myself "hey, why not start to do this healthy eating thing RIGHT NOW, i.e. from lunch today!"
 
You have to mix your meals into three different groups:

1. Proteins

2. Legumes

3. Vegetables

and the meal you decide you should eat it over and over again.
