Hi All :

I am 27 M, one month ago my weight was 90 Kg.

I started running and playing cricket and badminton.

I have lost 4 kg. But I got some pain in my kneed and I rested for last four days but now I am feeling too hungry and in these four days it seems I have gained the weight again.

Please any suggestion for the proper workout. Am I doing extra work-out or dieting that is causing me too hungry all the time and when I am leaving the excercise, I am gaining it again.

Thanks !!

Exercise is a good thing, but ultimately you won't lose weight until you control what you eat. AS you have found out by your experience, if for any reason you can't exercise, you'll gain back all the weight, if your diet isn't under control.

I'd suggest checking out the sticky posts in the forums - especially the ones focusing on nutrition. Eating a balanced diet - and getting the right amount of food is important. And by the right amount I mean not too much and not too little either.

How/when did the knee pain start? How much exercise were you getting before you started your workouts, and how much were you getting each week after you started?

Like KaraCooks stated, nutrition plays a very important role. Try eating higher fiber foods, and increase the number of meals you eat each day. Now that you're increasing the number of times your eating (which helps keep the hunger away), you need to make sure that you reduce the size of your portions.

Lastly, you need to make sure the exercise routine you are doing helps you prevent injuries, not increase your you chance of injuring yourself. Doing too much too soon can cause injuries, which as you have seen, forces you to limit your activity and makes losing weight more difficult.
