Hey guys. Just looking for some advice here. I'm looking to lose some weight and tone up a bit. I started this whole process back in November or so. It was a bit hard getting into it since it was something I had never done. I changed my eating habits, cut out the junk, soda, snacking, and started eating healthier. I eat 5-6 times a day. Usually have a protein drink for breakfast, have some oatmeal a couple of hours later, have some chicken, veggies low carbs for lunch, maybe another protein drink in the afternoon, then maybe chicken, veggies, etc for dinner. I have noticed that I don't really get hungry and my food intake feels like it's good....no hunger, etc.
I started training with a trainer twice a week for an hour. We do a bit of cardio and weight training for all muscle groups. And I try to get in the gym at least twice a week and do cardio for about 30 mins. And will occassionally weight train by myself once a week. Once I started the training and eating, I lose about 20 pounds over 2 months or so.
Lately I feel like I've hit a wall. I haven't seen as much weight loss, muscle tone, etc. I wonder if maybe I need to work out more, or do more cardio. I think I am going to make sure I do 45 mins or cardio for at least 3 times a week, and maybe add 1 more day of weight training, which would equal 3 total, 2 with my trainer, one on my own.
I just wanted you guys to take a look at my plan and give me any advice you might have...whether its eating or the workout routine. I guess I have hit that wall. Thanks guys.
