Hey Everyone.

Having abit of a problem with walking/working out.

I find myself getting tired/out of breathe very easy even after only 10-15 mins of light exercise....

My weight has gone down from 225Lbs to 199Lbs but I get really tired really quick and out of breathe and I would really like to change this, The exercise I do isn't even that bad it's only walking or using rowing machine.

Any advice would be GREAT!

Thanks a million

Hmmmm..

What's your diet like? Are you getting the right fuel food for your workouts? Carbs are great for "instant" fuel, especially cardio like you're doing.

Also, how long have you been working out? Your body might still be getting used to it. As long as you don't over-exert yourself (i.e. feeling dizzy, light headed, nausea, etc) you will do great! Remember, the goal when working out to lose weight is to push your cardio levels up, heart pumping, etc. If, over the course of 3 weeks if you're still doing the same workout and not seeing any improvements, it could be that you're not fueled properly.

Are you getting enough sleep? A well rested body is a well functioning body. If you're not getting enough sleep, your body will be busy exhausting its resources trying to keep you awake instead of giving you energy for working out.

Warm up slowly before you workout. Start gently and increase your reps and intensity very gradually.

How often do you work out? If you're very tired at the beginning of your workout, perhaps you should temporarily decrease the number of days you work out until your body can handle the load.

Drink your water, as dehydration could also be a factor.

Hope this helps!

Also if you try those tips above: increasing gradually, drinking, sleeping, vitamins etc and still feel tired,

go see a doctor

there could be another underlying cause

=)

I agree...there could be a problem with exercise induced asthma. Try the suggestions given above and if you still have the shortness of breath...I would certainly consult a doctor.
Good luck!
