As far as I know it's not so much when you eat as how much you eat. I'm sure you'll get more answers from the experts on the board later but my two cents worth is:

1. ditch the fruit juice - too many "empty" calories... if you eat fruit that is equivalent to the nr of cals in a litre of fruit juice you probably won't be able to move lol

2. space your meals out so you eat around 6 times / day

3. Work out how many calories you need to eat to reach whatever goal you have set for yourself...

I have also heard the 7 pm rule, and the 6 pm and the 5 pm and so on to the point that I may as well just quit eating... In nature the simplest rule applies ... if more goes in than comes out then you will gain... if you burn more than you eat then you will lose...

K... will let the experts take over now... before I put my foot in it lol :D

Not good. bread is highly processed/refined carbs, even the wholemeal stuff is not as good as steamed brown longgrain rice, oatmeal, and veggies.
ham, cornbeef, cheese...all not good as they're high in fat. your roast beef may be lean enough, or maybe not. the chicken is ok, but you're better off with real chicken breast, not deli sliced stuff (high in sodium and its processed chicken formed into a 'loaf')

fruit juice is horrible. you may as well drink a can of soda...fruit juice is that bad. stick to water. if you want fruit, eat fruit, don't drink it.

so what would u suggest for me to take to work and eat(nothing to fancy and exspensive please)
