Hey everybody,
I'm a girl, and I'm looking for preferably a female accountability buddy. Though I'll consider a guy! I started at this forum awhile ago and I did lose a little bit of weight, and started out attempting some better habits, but then I went right back to where I started. I guess for various reasons; I let work and stress get to me, and I didn't focus on healthy habits or changing my lifestyle.
I don't have much weight to lose, but I definitely overeat, am a caffeine junky, resist working out/lifting weights, don't drink enough water... etc. Therefore my weight yo-yos and my clothes get tight, I feel lousy and don't have much energy. I try to be a vegetarian, and that helps, but otherwise I am so irresponsible! I'm an instant-gratification type, and I never reach my goals because I go buy ice cream and cake when I want to binge.
I don't know if I'll be able to post every day, but most days I can, or at least once a week. Hopefully if you know you have to report to me about your day or week, you will pass on the cheesecake and go for a half-hour run? Promise me you will be completely honest with me and I will be with you; no judging, just accountability and support. I'm more interested in developing good habits/attitude than actual calorie-counting, but it probably helps to estimate calories each day, so if you want to do that, that is fine with me.
I'm female, 120 lbs, 5'3", 30 yrs old, no kids, and I'm a chemist who stresses a lot about work. Want to be buddies?
p.s. I used to be 155, so I know what it's like to be a little on the heavy side. Just in case you don't like the idea of buddying with someone who hasn't "been there" and doesn't need to lose much. I'm still not where I'd like to be in terms of health, and I would like to work towards a goal with you.
